About:

Describing the Felice Brothers' is like writing a recipe for perfect Americana. Take three carpenter's sons and a dice-thrower from the Catskill mountains, get them endorsed by the Band's Levon Helm and Conor "Bright Eyes" Oberst, then steep them in the late-night sounds of Lambchop, early Tom Waits and Bob Dylan's Desire. The results are familiar, but moreish. Three moods smoulder through their records: liquor-flavoured honky-tonk; looser, swaggering folk-rock; and eggshell-soft ballads.
