Moveonup first started in November 1995 and has been running every Wednesday night since. Originally at Leeds’ legendary soul, funk and jazz venue ‘The Underground, the night transferred to the The HiFi Club when it opened its doors in October 2000, and it’s gone from strength to strength ever since, making it one of Leeds’ longest running and most popular club nights – it will be celebrating it’s 12th birthday party later this year. Regularly packed to the rafters, it’s enthusiastic crowd of music lovers dance to the good time soul music including the very best in Tamla Motown, Northern Soul, Stax, Atlantic, Hammond & Sixties Beat
