Pigs has become one of the leading cutting edge club nights in the UK. Their strange and often discussed music policy ranges from a broad play list that includes the likes of !!!, Klaxons, The Juan Maclean, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, The Germs, A Certain Ratio, The Rapture, The Cramps, The Misfits, Simian Mobile Disco, Wolfmother, Who Made Who, Tapes n Tapes, MSTRKRFT, Run DMC, Minor Threat… I think you’re getting the picture!
The media have identified the night as the club for the modern Generation-X, and its now becoming increasingly difficult to find any band who hasn’t at one time or another frequented Pigs, in the party sense not the live sense, although The Futureheads, ARE Weapons, Black Wire and the Long Blondes have made live performances.
